I deleted my news app for a couple months. Did wonders but the only reason I re downloaded it was because there were multiple mass shootings every other week and I would rather not be caught in the crossfire
They do that for a reason - to encourage copycats. They know damn well that publicizing these events makes others want to copy, and do it deliberately.
