      The command was literally called "program close" and I really can't understand what legitimate purpose a command that effectively bricks the database could have for being there in the first place.

        So it's not a command within this company's program but one built into the Solana blockchain, apparently. What's hilarious is that they didn't think to check if the account still has funds in it and verify that the user really wants to close it and lock up those funds before just summarily closing the account lol
