but to answer the memes question, the stick. I'd get only a few seconds of enjoyment from skipping the rock (and I suck at rock skipping, so it probably wouldn't be very good anyway), but that stick won't need to leave me until I leave it.

I've already got a perfect stick so I'd go with the rock. If I did not have my perfect stick though, rough choice. That's a damn fine stick
I would be sad about leaving either, with full blown buyer's remorse for the other one. So knowing me, and agreeing with the other commenters about taking only memories, I'd probably opt to leave both and smile that I found them.
