Anyone know some good, preferably leftist, anime?
Not a fan of shonen, romance, harem or highschool anime if that helps.
To give you an idea of what I do like. Stuff like Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Baccano, Lupin the Third, and Miyazaki films are all good and I don't mind comedy if it's bizarre and stupid like Bobobo, or romcom if its wholesome as fuck and is about adults, like Way of the House Husband.
Odd Taxi! It's a cool mystery show about a grumpy taxi driver.
Gankutsuou! It's the Count of Monte Cristo!! But it's a sci-fi version of 1800s France and the visuals are cool. This actually isn't that new its almost 20 years old I'm cheating
Nichijou! Bizzare and stupid comedy
Hinamatsuri! More weird comedy. About a Yakuza dude taking care of this time traveler psychic girl
Asobi Asobase! Stupid and crude comedy
fair warning for hinamatsuri, it has child nudity at a few points. it's super brief, and it's never horny about it to my recollection, but that might turn you off
it does have the most sympathetic portrayal of homelessness i've ever seen in anime
