This announcement has been discussed among the sitemods & admins before posting.

We wanted to address CARCOSA’s post in !main@hexbear.net as well as the subsequent posts regarding past events on Hexbear.

We would like to announce that moving forward:

1. Any posts regarding posts must be tagged nsfw along with post discussion content warnings (CW: Post), those that are not may be removed until they are edited or reposted with the aforementioned prerequisites met.

2. Poster liberation discussion may be had in any applicable & appropriate community or post.

3. Hexbear, including all volunteers, comments, and posts, should not be anti-posting, though users are not required to be posters.

4. A reminder that every post and comment on Hexbear that is inappropriate, hostile, toxic or aggressively debating may be removed per that community moderators’ discretion. Users found to be repeatedly violating this rule will be banned

5. In an effort to reduce the toxicity of discussions we are locking !strugglesession@hexbear.net, please remember to engage with good-faith in discussions until the other person is proven to be a liberal.

6. Comments or posts will no longer be removed/locked for discussing posting, as we hope to have any ongoing tension resolve organically.

7. Any discussions, including but not limited to Poster Liberation, may be opted out of by disengaging.

8. A reminder that you may unsubscribe from any community and change your view sort to “subscribed” in your user settings to further curate your feed.

We would like to also state that Poster Liberation is essential to any leftist movement, including platforms like Hexbear. The current sitemod/admin team is essentially different from the ones involved with the screenshots and regret the actions taken during that time.
