I feel like I'm falling off the wagon every time I go to :reddit-logo:. I feel worse for going on reddit than I do drinking or smoking
I’ve been taking a break from Reddit ever since the ukraine war started. Deleted it off my phone, blocked it on my browser so I can’t even open a random Reddit link when just googling shit. Only time I see it is when stuff gets linked on this site and I make a conscious decision to view it.
Genuinely feel better mentally. Not like anything crazy or life-changing, but unplugging a bit and using my phone less has just made things slightly better.
reddit coincides with my life turning to absolute shit, which spans the last13 years. :thonk:

I got perma-banned recently and I've got to say, it's not so bad. Once you disengage you suddenly realise you have lots of spare time to waste on other, more productive things.
Go upset some libs for a bit and you will get perma banned eventually.
For me it was suggesting that we could save money on hanging the royal family by bricking them. The queen died a few days later, lol
