it's literally the bare minimum of acceptance and it truly doesn't mean anything. i hate how so many cis/het content creators have become "gay"/"queer" icons for being asked to say this on a stream or something just to resume playing a game or going back to their normal commentary. its not normalizing trans people, its very much in the same vein of rainbow capitalism - i guarantee that most of these creators know how many lgbt people comprise their fanbase, and they know better to ostracize such a large demographic of their viewership.
With that out of the way - with 'content creators' their young fanbase , I bet it's nice for queer teens to hear their favourite streamer or whatever say queer-friendly stuff. It actually might mean something, just not materially. And it doesn't have to. Some things can just be nice.
