    Which means he has to have some form of evidence then, right? Because that would be a fat lawsuit if not

      So to steal from some redditor which put on their totally legitimate lawyer hat.

      The line of "I believe that Niemann has cheated more...." apparently won't be too much of an issue in any defamation case since Carlsen is stating it as an opinion, not as a fact.

      This apparently also gives away that Carlsen has no real proof of Niemann's over the board cheating because if he did he'd 100% be the kind of person to dare Niemann to take this to court by calling him a cheater without any of this song and dance, just so he could drag Niemann's reputation through the dirt once more but now in a high profile court case which Carlsen would also likely win if his proof was worth listening to.
