If it wasn't for being a real life horror story actual people are living through, this would make for a really cool grimdark setting; but thanks to reality being the inspiration for grimdark settings, the biggest fans would be people who love that this is the case (much like how WH40k's biggest fans are chuds).
Of course it would help if James Worksop didn't drop the pretense that the Imperium are the bad guys and start making punisher skull call of duty space marines.
