IDK how good of advice this is, but from what it looks like, people tend to have more kinship with their country than their class.

So why not equate CHUDDery to something foreign? Like being a CHUD is American.

"Unions are bad? What are you some kind of American?"

I think that would work better actually, if they can't understand reason, fight chuddery with chuddery, call her a filthy immigrant with the tipical ignorance of an american, and the same urge to ruin everything even for the "good" people living in the First World(TM); "you won the cold war by default and instead of conquering the world you managed to end up a shithole of a country, so much you had to escape here and freeload honest Canadians. Remain silent"

Or just ignore them and chill, eventually they'll see the light.

I'm sorry you have to deal with that. Sucks when you're family doesn't have your back. I hope you can get your union. It sucks that they're working you like that, and that they're letting old people suffer because the fuckers won't staff the kitchen properly.

It's so much of a lost cause its not even funny. Like the union busting manager cannot conceive of themselves as an instrumental part in restricting the power of the union. Rather they just "follow company policy" with no framework for understanding the interests of the company they serve
