I understand now. I understand viscerally, rather than intellectually, the sentiment that parody is dead, that reality has lapped it, and I contend to you that no, both reality and parody flow from the same horrible godhead, the same noxious singularity of mirthless cosmic humor. Hell is empty and the liberals are here
