      You're welcome. You could consider using the extra bandwidth you have to join a local org. Being a bit further away from the meat grinder is good, that's the space you often need to help others.

      Don't let anyone shame you for making a living wage. The bourgeoisie spends a lot of effort getting the working class to act like crabs in a bucket.

      It sounds like you've caught a break. You can pass that on and hold the door open for others when the time comes.

          Nonprofits are fine and often do decent work. There are plenty of valid critiques and they cannot really be revolutionary, but they can still sometimes have some utility.

          Being on a nonprofit board only sounds impressive until you've actually spent some time around nonprofits, so I get what you mean lol
