I did a search online for "heaviest bands to perform on tv" and this was one of the results.

It looked innocuous at first, but then I started reading it and the first few sentences & word choice are just weird. And then I got to the following:

Napalm Loss of life

Rage In opposition to The Machine

Killing In The Title

Religion No Extra

Late Evening With Conan O’Brien

The Late Present With David Letterman

I'm pretty sure now that the website just took this article and skinned it with a bunch of (bizarre and conspicuous) word replacements to avoid plagiarism charges.

I don't think I've come across a website like this before. Is there a name for this type of online content?

    Automated websites are a plague and the principle reason why Google and other search engines don't work nearly as well as they used to. I'm guessing the tech behind this one is pretty bad, though some GPT-3 based generators can make really convincing articles that you have to skim through to get to the recipe at the bottom of the page.
