I can't get in to how or why I saw this, but I just read a piece from a 10th grader explaining that in the American Revolutionary War, we fought the British because they were trying to make us communists.

No matter what media environment or political environment prevails, there will be silly/uninformed people around saying silly/uninformed things every day.
Treat them with as little energy as possible and focus on high-quality mindfood.
I can usually get past wacky student writing, but this one got to me.
