I think this is a weird way of saying that they're just not letting kids stream or view streams not explicitly intended to be kids content, rather than tiktok becoming a porn platform.
Adult-only streams on TikTok shouldn't be so funny of a phrase but it is.
Without reading the article, this seems like it could be a good thing? Less creepy dudes beating it to underage girls seems like a win to me, and short of hiring more moderators, separating the kids from the adults seems like it could accomplish that.
