People never seem to get tired of this cool monorail station in a building, so here's another view.

There's a very average food court on like the third floor of that building

Chongqing is a very cool city, 10/10 food and great environment. It's well developed but a lot of the buildings are from like the 80s so it looks more cozy than most big cities that are full of these highrises built five years ago. Everything is on a slope towards the river so it's uphill no matter where you go. The white elephant building, a massive apartment building, has street level entrances like 10 stories apart, depending on which side you're on.

Thanks for sharing, that station is dope as fuck.

Edit: imagine if in an alternative reality the subreddit discovered this station before the dope ass bear and this site was named after it.

It's much less intrusive. Rubber tires help, plus it's not a century old like the L. Love the Blues Brothers.

Why isn't trains running through apartment buildings more common?

This and Disney are the only cases I'm aware of. Seems like it'd be nice to walk directly out of your apartment's elevator onto a train or subway without ever having to go outside.

This actually exists in many places via entrances to apartment buildings or shops. It's pretty common in subway stations.
