Today We’re in the process of losing what voting rights remain- bald pipe dream comparisons have little use while the social contract is being actively dismantled. All transit projects are out the window when Rs own budgets

Honestly one of the best arguments for urbanism especially stuff like bike lanes that can done exceptionally cheap is that it can start to undo the damage to the sense of community and solidarity that has been done by suburbanization. But Democrats can’t actually imagine changing structures or actually changing someone’s mind. At the end of the day suburban liberals and suburban conservatives are almost identically anti-social.

Weird how the areas where Dems control the budget also get their rail projects destroyed and looted, or they never get off the ground 🤔

      Rs own budgets

Biden's infrastructure plan included a truly insignificant, piddly amount for rail. It think it was like ~0.3% or something.

An evergreen lib comment translated into sane English is

All ________________ spending is out the window and it doesn't matter who controls congress but we pretend that does. So what you need to do is vote so the democrats can win elections!

Texas highways are insane. Every drives a massive truck 10-20 mph over the speed limit
