when I first started learning about Marxism I would feel this immense amount of love and joy and awe for people, the Earth, and our universe just by walking around outside in the morning. I had never felt anything like that before
Yeah as much as I talk about Marxism and capitalism as a necronomicon-esque text that describes this vast cosmic horror, dwelling in these sorts of communities for the past several years has given me a great amount of hope and love for people as well as getting me over some reactionary hangups regarding masculinity, gender, etc.
If you want to enhance that love for existence I'd recommend also reading Spinoza. His concept of Nature and the universe is incredibly beautiful. There's a Rev. Left Radio series on him too
