From what I saw the wording just gets rid of the "except as punishment for a crime" part of the 13th amendment, but doesn't actually stop prisons from using inmates for labor or paying them below minimum

The bigger news should be that it explicitly wasn't in Louisiana
So this just means prisoners in Tennessee will be paid 13 cents to 52 cents an hour now, right?
