That timing is bullshit. Republicans should have wanted to make a stir about it before the midterms if they knew it was coming.

I think someone had to have known it was about to be announced and kept it under wraps to stop the Dems from getting fucked in the midterms.

Idk what kind of political capital was used to keep it under wraps, and I'm concerned a deal may have been brokered such as promising that the decision won't actually be fought back against by the Dems.
