LinkedIn sucks and is the ultimate lib machine that solidifies class structures BUT

I got my job through linkedin and out of all the sites (indeed, Glassdoor, etc) it is by far the most effective sm tool to get a job.

I tried getting a job with the state years ago and had gotten a 98% on the exam, pushed out around 300 applications, which had to be fucking printed out and mailed, called the offices where I'd sent applications and about half of the people who answered informed me there were hundreds of people ahead of the general population for the positions and sounded irritated I was calling in the first place.

The only thing I can say is keep trying. Maybe get your resume/application checked by a professional? If you're in school, they usually have those services for free.

Use linkedin, it sucks but it got me my job. I've never had any luck with other sites.

Right? Labor has very little bargaining power and the small business tyrants and the Fed are still flipping out.

Have you tried lying? I asked a guy how he got started in IT and he created a fake LLC where he listed himself as the senior network admin for the past 7 years and set his friend as a reference, granted he was very good at it.
