It seems our guardians of law and order have been less than forthcoming when it comes to the true state of crime in this country. According to the data, nearly 3.4 million violent crimes per year go unreported to the police. And why, pray tell, are these heinous acts being swept under the rug? The answer, my friends, lies in the self-serving machinations of the boys in blue.

Oh my god, is this what you do, OP, you just post articles from your membership required Medium to hexbear?

This one too starts with an unsourced claim! At least in this one there's no weird opining (based on nothing) about how women are so much more nurturing than men who are more aggressive and dominant. Probably. Once again it's behind a paywall so I haven't read the whole thing.

Well thanks for that, now I know how to bypass paywalls on Medium, which is neat. Doesn't really make me like OP though, they're still self-promoting a very poorly sourced blog, likely hoping for new members, which in my opinion is a pretty shitty thing to do.

Who is Chris Jeffries? These articles suck, it would have been better to post the Gingerich paper directly. But this one embeds three hours of podcast videos with Alan Macleod (Mint Press), Ben Norton (Grayzone), and Rathbone (lefty tiktoker). There's a lot of recognizable names showing up in the podcast to promote their material (John Waters, Cory Doctorow), and there's a year of these episodes with around a hundred views each. What is going on here? Is this personally funded? Feels like peering into an alternate media universe.
