He says this as someone who was raised in the upper class by a wealthy father, the man is too stupid to realize the leg up he had financially and socially growing up.

He's also praised the bell curve in a debate with the other liberal reactionary Destiny on black poverty.

The man has absolutely no idea what it's like growing up in the lower middle class or working class in the United states and he's disseminating these garbage ideas to teenagers and young adults on a large platform.

    I don’t think he’s stupid. I think he’s consciously manipulating his audience (likely men who aren’t doing as well and looking for a way to move up) by beating them into submission mentally and emotionally, and making them feel like the situation they’re in is entirely their own fault. Then he positions himself as their savior and offers a false path to redemption that involves giving him more of their money. It’s pretty standard PUA/red pill/self-help garbage but has also been used by churches for thousands of years now.

      Honestly. I agree with you. Woody isn't dumb. Dude know's he's perpetuating selfishness and callousness, he just doesn't care.

      You are familiar with the podcast then I take it? I watched it in high school due to being into call of duty back then and now watching it as a mature adult, I cannot stand Woodys garbage reactionary takes.

        Sort of related, I've always wondered what leftist "self-help" might look like and if it could be used to turn some of those people left.

          Yeah, it started as a Call of Duty podcat and now it's just a general internet culture podcast. Woody himself is upper middle class probably touching upper class at this point due to his greedy podcast moneys and an old Minecraft server he used to own and charging children to play on it. there was an instance when a kid donated 2k or something to Woodys minecraft server and the parents did a chargeback, woody then decided to try and sue the child because of the charge back. Dude is a piece of trash.

          I don't know what leftist self help would look like either, but we need it to counter the Petersons and Woodys.
