I got this sword as a gift to my bf. It's a replica his paladin's nodachi, from our long-running Pathfinder game. I filled his Youtube recommendations with sword content (Bladetube), and waited for him to excitedly tell me what his character's sword is like. I then went to hanbonforge.com and picked options that closely fit what he described to me. Now it's just waiting for my approval to ship out.

I think it's pretty neat. Gonna look all the pics over real closely to make sure I don't want any changes before it's sent out.
It honestly felt a teensy bit sneaky and manipulative, but for a good cause. He'd be working and I'd watch a video while he was away. Just a Skallagrim video here, a Let's Ask Shogo there, a lil bit of Shadiversity, and the algorithm does the rest. Eventually he has the vocabulary to describe the sword in a way that directly translates to buying a production katana.
Shadiversity has really shit political views if you didn't know. He's a hardcore "woke liberal media" type who complains about women in games and movies on his second channel. Just so you know because his main channel isn't so explicit about bigotry
