Second reference to sexuality is in reference to protecting minors who are victims of sexual abuse from having their names displayed. Typical stuff.

Third reference is against child pornographic materials. Typical stuff.

Fourth reference has to do with LGBT people, but its basically what I posted before.

    So, to summarize:

Ukraine did NOT ban discrimination against LGBT people, but only banned public state funded news sources from 'inciting enmity or discrimination' towards LGBT people on the basis of 'sex or gender identity'. This is, of course, an improvement, but it should be noted that there are dozens of ways around such a limited legislation. It doesn't even outlaw discrimination in employment towards LGBT people at the agencies themselves, it has only to do with broadcasting material, which honestly can just be seen as a PR move to not be as easily vilified in the west.

I would link to the Ukrainian government docs but uh thats fed shit, if you wanna DL it yourself search for 2693-d from July 2, 2020, url ends with webproc4_1?pf3511=69353

Please share my translation and synopsis wherever you see this because I have a hunch a lot of people are going to be misled with this. I'd also appreciate it if someone posted it being fake in the twitter thread, as this alleged queer 'journalist' did not even do basic research.
