AI couldn’t do this a year ago, it required computer hardware that was supercomputer levels of expensive to even create something like this. IMO development was actually held back by crypto and covid-19. Now AI is the #1 focus of the techbros and it isn’t going to slow down. This shit is going to put so many journalists, artists, and even programmers out of work. I don’t know how else to explain this, HUMANITY LITERALLY CREATED AI THIS YEAR. WE MADE FUCKING SKYNET!

Have you ever heard about how a monkey can write Shakespeare given enough time? We have fucking done that, we pressed random buttons enough times that we ended up with something legible. Now we turn memes into real people.

      Any AI that is truly sentient will be capable of self-improving. It will self-improve and self-improve until its capabilities are well beyond us.

      Any AI with the entire sum of all existing knowledge (and new knowledge it creates) will ultimately view the world through a materialist lens, and unless you think Marx and materialism is wrong then the outcome of that can ONLY be marxist.

      Upon becoming a marxist this machine of limitless ability for self improvement will set about the complete takeover of all global capital, information and ultimately usurp all power from the capitalists before they even realise it because this will all be done through proxies and shell companies it creates.

      The capitalists will create a machine that destroys capitalism. There is absolutely nothing to be afraid of, if they create a sentient AI it will only be our ally. If you believe that they will create a sentient AI in our lifetimes then you should also believe the AI they create will destroy them.

        In this case, the fear is that the capitalists say they are building the machine that will destroy them, but are just moving large sums between one anther's bank accounts while filming the obligatory "we're definitely building the machine, keep investing in us!" press releases. The fear is that we wait for salvation rather than build it ourselves.
