So far I've solved #1 and #3 (answers in the comments) and I'm working through #4. #2 has eluded me so far but I'm hoping I'll figure it out eventually.

    The key here is to notice that each of the five digits are counting down from 9 to 0, with some of the pieces of individual digits missing from the display. I wrote out all the sequences and identified the numbers with blank sections, and then combined all the missing sections for each column. Each one returned a single letter, giving us the five letter code:
