You guys are so friendly to new comer~! Thanks a lot. And here's a draft of a special flower. Is there anyone like it?Somehow we have a special feeling for this kind of flower, especially in traditional painting. It's one of the four most popular painting plants(梅兰竹菊).

I love it. You have really expressive brush stokes, simple yet conveys so much. :stalin-approval:

Thanks a lot~ You do mentioned the key spirit of this kind of drawings. That's what I'm chasing, to use as simple stokes as I can, to express the subtle change and feeling with different shade.

Love the choice of colors here. OP, have you seen Takeshi Kitano's Hana-Bi by chance? It is one of my favorite films, and it has a wonderful scene where a character begins taking inspiration from the form and color of various flowers. You may enjoy it given your work here.

Yeah the color is hard to handle with, I'm still learning. I haven't watched it, is it an anime?I'll look up it later, thanks for recommendation, I appreciate that~😊

Awww~~ thank you thank you~! Yeah it's the traditional Chinese painting. You could have a try~! It's easy to start, all you need is just a paper and a brush and ink, you even don't need colors at first.

yeah there was a struggle session here about how having outdoor cats is animal abuse. people got really upset defending having outdoor cats and we joke about it a lot now

I didn't know much about the session, I simply think the name is like a pun to my situation.
