I do not believe a better world is coming, or that I can meaningfully contribute to the struggle for one.
This is defeatism. Everyone has contributions to make and to give in to the fatalism that a better world is not possible is honestly reactionary.

I'd criticize you or try and deter you like everybody here already has and probably will but I completely empathize with what how you're feeling
I'm not smart enough to respond in a way that would be meaningful, and I can't pretend to have lived these experiences.
