Honest question: Why do you leave D&D to play D&D with the serial numbers filed off?

      fucking lolz. it's more 5e v. 3.5/pathfinder

5e is just so damn shallow and boring. i can't be as much of a stats nerd as i want to in it

Yes because adding a +1 from five different sources is so fun and deep and what I really want to do when I play a TTRPG.

spoken like a true WOTC marketer. do they pay you to repeat their talking points word for word? or do you do it for hasbro for free?

Sounds like someone who can't even imagine putting down D&D to play something else and, dare I say, better.

Pathfinder has the same goal as D&D (heroic progression fantasy adventure) but actually knows how to achieve that. If you don't want that goal (it's not my thing either), nbd, but there's nothing wrong with it and PF does it well.

No. It's just the same game with more addition and more bookkeeping. That's what it is.

It's just 3.5 again tweaked by 3.5 nerds but not in a way that addresses any of the serious flaws 3.5 has
