Yes, it's shit. Are you on desktop, or firefox mobile ? if so, install the redirector extension. Then add the following regexps:
- First one: redirect
(.*)\.wikipedia\.org/([^?]*)$to$1.wikipedia.org/$2?useskin=vector - Second one: redirect
(.*)\.wikipedia\.org/(.*\?.*)$to$1.wikipedia.org/$2&useskin=vector, exclude.*useskin=vector.*- and use an example URL that include some random GET parameter (?a=b for example).
... you'll get the old UI back, and no need to be logged in. The same extension, by the way, can easily be used to automatically redirect reddit links to old reddit, or mobile wikipedia to the desktop one.

It would be infinitely better if it didn't crop off the symmetrical white space on the other side. The scrolling table of contents is nice, but there's just an entirely pointless whitespace area on the other side of the screen.
I saw old wikipedia and I was like "Please, show me less information, I am not here to LEARN THINGS", and now this is done.
I like that the table of contents scrolls with and I don't hate the thinner reading area. Been weird adjusting, though.

I like the pinned TOC and the reasonable text column width. Otherwise... eh? There's a lot of extra whitespace everywhere, as is the fashion.
