Elon probably looks down on the average person but still wants their validation in the form of likes and replies on his tweets. Very strange.

If you were empty before having billions of dollars, having billions of dollars won't change things.

yeah but money has diminishing returns in utility. It's one of the inefficiencies of capitalism we don't talk about much because it's by far the least sympathetic one

capitalists don't actually get all that much out of their relentless extraction past a certain point. Their exploitation unlike a feudal lord is not limited to merely what they can actually use and or enjoy

they're just taking surplus value to take it. Jeff Bezos for example cannot in any meaningful way experience the diference between Amazon profits with people allowed to take bathroom breaks or forced to pee in bottles

It's something I've never understood. Like, if I ever got to the point where I personally had millions of dollars, I'd just immediately retire and enjoy being able to do whatever I want for the rest of my life.

not that strange he's got a pretty sad life he has to spend all of his time being Elon Musk. He's 100% brought it on himself but people like this are actually kind of pathetic.

In a similar way to Puyi even people like him would be better off under communism
