I fell for the thirst traps and bought it today even though I was planning to wait.
They definitely nailed the vibe from the first one, feels like you're playing pretty much the same game, except you get new stages and weapons and stuff and you're a goth witch instead of a twink fighter. There's some changes to how combat works with a mana bar and stuff, which I really like so far, but I'm only 4 hours in so no clue how it's gonna hold up over time.
Did you enjoy all the enemies in the final levels of Hades I having to be hit 50 times?
Well they fixed that, now the enemies form level 1 onwards need to be hit 50 times.
Genuinely the first boss took me like 15 minutes of just hitting them. It wasn't even hard, it just took so fucking long. The mini boss in the middle of the first map takes forever because their only abilities are essentially forcing you to move and a giant HP bar.
Guess I'll ask - so, how's the sequel so far?

Excuse me Zagreus is definitely a twunk
sounds like a pretty cool transition timeline
It's good. If you liked the first one, you're going to like this one too.
Hell yeah. Was a fan of the first one, but not enough to finish it. Had (most?) Everything unlocked tho!
Yeah I beat the game like 12 times but eventually the pact of punishment made me hit a wall
I want a cheat code to unlock all the weapon upgrades because why would you even use an non upgraded aspect?
Hades 2 envisions the sirens from the Odyssey as a hair metal band.

Hell yeah
They start playing a diss track for the protagonist after I think 10 encounters. Hoping they add more for 1.0
