I tasted it once 15 years ago and I am still disgusted by it, it had the pungent taste of chewing a raw soy grain but in liquid form, and my stupid ass had to take a big gulp of that horrible beverage.
Maybe someone has breed out the horrible flavor and nobody told me.
In any case, soy is still by far the worst bean ever.

I have a ton of dried chickpeas, but I could get some chickpea flour if I can't make the tofu without a mill.
I get cheap chickpea flour so never even tought of getting a mill. Anyways, do some faina with green onions in the mix and some sauce on top, it's better to rehydrate the flour overnight
You probably tried unflavoured, unsweetened soy milk. All of the alternative milks are awful when unsweetened and unflavoured.
