Matt: Welcome back to Chapo Trap House, the leftist podcast that's been banned in more countries than Alex Jones. I'm Matt Christman, joined as always by Will Menaker and Felix Biederman.

Will: And today we're talking about the absurdities of the gig economy. You know, all those apps that let you sell your labor for a few scraps of bread crumbs while the bosses get rich off your hard work.

Felix: Yeah, it's like a return to the days of the robber barons, except this time it's on your iPhone. The way these tech bros talk about it, you'd think they were doing you a favor by letting you drive people around or deliver their food.

Matt: And let's not forget the surveillance aspect of it. These companies are tracking your every move, rating you like a piece of meat, and using all that data to make even more money.

Will: It's like something out of a dystopian sci-fi movie. And the worst part is, these apps are becoming more and more integrated into our daily lives. Soon there won't be any other options.

Felix: That's why we need to fight back. We need to unionize these workers, demand better pay and working conditions, and ultimately take back control of our own labor.

Matt: And that's all the time we have for today. Thanks for listening to Chapo Trap House, the podcast for people who hate capitalism but love dick jokes. We'll see you next time.
