Actually yes lol. They love giving the craziest Americans air time because it makes us look bad. RT was reporting on Hunter Biden's laptop drama for months for example. And you also have the useful idiots like Caleb Malpin coming on acting as their "American correspondent" when literally no one takes him seriously here. It's pretty funny to be honest, they'll print both left critiques of America being a capitalist nightmare alongside fascist anti-lbgt/SJW stuff. Just totally cynically using whatever they can to stir shit up in the US and make us look like fools. And to be fair, it's not like we need much help in that department.

Honestly, this feels like a counterpoint to the American "We're going to nuke Three Gorges Dam". Just dipshits blustering at one another endlessly, for ratings, until someone works themselves into enough of a lather to shoot up another school or military base.

When I was living outside the US my colleagues would occasionally ask me whether or not the unhinged things certain politicians said were true, but I have no idea what they say in Russia.

If they wanted to help us censor TV Dinner Man, I wouldn't protest.

Microsoft edge newsfeed is 100 percent propaganda, all of the time. I’ve gotten Washington examiner shit on there, trans panic, batshit stories about Russia and Zelensky, everything

It's so garbage. My work computer has the little shortcut to the stories so I find myself taking a peak at them when I'm bored. I've noticed that any stories about covid get the most interaction via the thumbs up/down. All the other stories will get a few dozen to maybe a couple of hundred interactions normally, while the covid ones will have thousands of thumbs down reactions. I'm guessing it's mostly out of touch boomers that use it alongside facebook as their main news sources, so it's been tailored to them, and the thumbsdown always crack me up on the covid stories because it's like, what are you thumbsdowning? Scientists say there is a new strain, or this many people died, or cases are up by this much, and it gets piled on with hate because what? You want to deny reality or something?

Nuclear+volcanic winter is one way of cooling the atmosphere, plus the much fewer remaining people would emit less CO2. Yet the corpses of entire ecosystems plus all the volcanic shit would emit a LOT of CO2 so idk maybe let's just build solar panels.

I have to use windows at work and whenever I click on the start tab I’m bombarded by the most deranged, unadulterated, thought ending news
