Shrek forms an important foundation, but just as Lenin builds on Marx, Marx builds on Hegel, Hegel builds on Kant, Kant builds on Hume, Hume builds on Aristotle, and Aristotle builds on Plato, we also recognize that Plato builds on Shrek. It is important to recognize the forward progression of all things and we must honor all stepping stones across the river of truth, not just the first.
