I found this guy around 3 months ago. I still dont know how I have not gotten a broken pocket watch off of ebay yet because I love fixing laptops that are more confusing than them.

2 weeks later, this comm is so dead and it shouldn't be.

Anyway, I've got some experience doing some watch repair, its a super peaceful but sorta expensive hobby, but is also self contained to a desk. You can still find decent "for parts" watches on ebay though.

If you start looking into it, and wondering where to spend your money, the answer is tweezers and screwdrivers. The dollars spent on proper ones will outweigh any other bit.
