If the libs get a 4-3 majority on the supreme court, we could go the way of Michigan in just a few years (claw our way out of several circles of hell). Wisconsin could go back to having basic liberal democracy and potentially flip the federal Congress.

And we could likely get rid of right to work laws here.

Right now the state is about 52% blue, but Republicans have nearly double the representation in the legislature, and triple the federal representation. Absolutely wild.

      Yeah that shit was so embarrassing. After all that effort getting the recall going, they ate shit. Then the Tea Party ghouls made a public searchable database of every signatory (unlike voting, it is public data) so that employers could much more easily look people up and discriminate on the basis of that. Not even kidding.

      WI Dems at the Madison level are incredibly out of touch with the needs of the rest of the state. They like to pretend that Wisconsin is still a natural bastion of progressive farmer values when the rural areas have been deep-fried libertarian wackos whose kids don't even actually go to school anymore for the last 20 years.
