Seriously, who the fuck has the last name Lightfoot and ISNT Native American? I’m literally torn right now, the guy used Turtle Island to describe the Americas, Gitchi Gami for the Great Lakes, he called Canada by the actual native pronunciation Kanata. I’m not saying he appropriated anything but like fuck, I just assumed, this is a real Mandela effect for me dog. Guess I’m just gonna listen to some redbone now.
Before my dad passed he went to a Gordon Lightfoot concert. It was the first concert he'd been to for decades and he got my sister to help pick him out some cloths to wear to it. It melts my heart to think of my old man being excited to go to a concert and worrying about what to wear.
