    Social power will remain even absent economic exploitation, tbh. I mean that's how economic exploitation came into being in the first place.

    It's fundamentally a consequence of social coalition-building, which itself boils down to a congruence of shared interests, & mutual personal familiarity/affinity.

    That's not to say that you can't give workers as a class more, or less degrees of political power within a given society. I just don't really believe anymore, that we're going to create a society where everybody actually gets to matter.
