I guess I’ll consume the state mandated amount of treats and feel bad about it in a manner I’m prescribed to feel guilty about. That’s makes me a morally good person. I consume the right amount which is too much but I flagellate myself which its okay.

Capitalism literally demands that human beings give up their individuality, goals, personal desires, hopes, dreams, and identity so they can survive.

Capitalism even features the "Borg queen" as an intended feature: the only people consistently celebrated by the economic system and its enforcers for their individuality, goals, personal desires, hopes, dreams, and identity. :porky-happy:

One of the most insidious tricks capitalism played was convincing people that GOMMUNISM VUVULZULA was the Borg. :picard:

Capital itself is the true queen, but it will elevate a few effective subordinates for a time if it benefits 'the collective'.

Capitalism itself is a Lovecraftian horror with priests that don't fully fathom it but continually placate it by feeding it. :sus-torment:

We are the :LIB:. Lower your defenses and surrender. We will add your biological and technological surplus value to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile.

That's really how it works when something :us-foreign-policy: gets bleached and processed for :maybe-later-honey: :maybe-later-kiddo: use, such as chipotle.
