Vegan options at restaurants are more and more common. I don't need to compromise my views on eating animals for the convenience of not being able to eat at some restaurants. By the same logic, what's to stop someone from being "vegan at home" and then going out to a steakhouse?
:im-vegan: and I don't usually make exceptions going out, with rare cases of burger places having only egg based buns or indian places cooking everything with ghee when I'm out with friends. Generally I don't judge the vegan at home people, they're doing significantly less animal harm than even regular vegetarians.
On that topic, how do people here feel about that?

It's better than also eating steak at home I guess. Although this is probably a wishy-washy liberal opinion to have.

It's better than nothing. I personally feel that it's easier to have a hard and fast rule.
I feel that people should stop making excuses for abusing animals.
