    There's only 3 options:

    1. Rich persecuted. Rich reduced by murder or leaving country. Literacy goes down.

    2. Poor persecuted. Mostly illiterate (not really but for the sake of this). Literacy goes up.

    3. Both persecuted. Literacy unaffected.
