Someone tried telling me last week that it was possible Arnold wasn't juicing in his early years. Just fucking look at him.

I think some people still have unrealistic standards and ideas of what is achievable without steroids.

I however know that practically everyone is on juice, including anyone who is stronger than me or looks better than me

Dude started steroids at 16, but the protocols weren’t really developed in the 70s, nobody knew how much they could take, there was no black market, and he could only take what he could get a shady prescription for. It’s almost certain that he was taking a lot less than the average roid-head in the average gym today. Taking less than 1/10th of what IFBB pros take today. (Every guy from that era says a weekly replacement-level dose of testosterone + 15 mg dianabol daily and that’s it, and that’s hard to believe, but it’s also hard to believe that they’ve all coordinated the same lie for 50 years.)

Which if you compare him to Ronnie Coleman, makes sense.

I was nervous the morning before I went to lift weights in a gym for the first time, and I watched Pumping Iron to give myself confidence. Then I lifted weights regularly for years until the covid pandemic :(

When you get those weird shapes and hard turns like with his bicep and shoulder there, it makes me extremely uncomfortable. Like that's not a shape a human should have, something's wrong. plays in my feeling brain.
