We really need to become a fortress, don't let the temptation of new users blind you to the fact that if even 0.5% of reddit users migrated here this site would become unBEARable
We haven't discovered the mythological :downbear: yet, there's still decades before someone discovers unbears
Hexbear is not the new reddit. It's good for what it is, but we are a fairly isolated community that has had basically zero user growth since the Troubles.

All of them. The beef with Lemmy, the outdoor cat struggle, the struggle about eating meat, about porn, about Beatnik, about heavy-handed moderation, about new communities, about downbears, we had brigades, we even had beef about the name change (I still only browse chapo.chat, I don't fuck with hexbear.net).
I think, largely, if we experienced a large migration, we'd mostly be watching a spinning bear head.
We dont invite Mobs in here , one after he Other , they having themselfs qualified by finding us in the Dark side of Town. Those that wander here are Welcome , but dont invite those that would never wander in these places .
