I do not think Hexbear is the right fit for a community like that. I'd suggest looking for established Christianity-focused lemmy instances or starting one of your own. There is an !christianity@hexbear.net community here. The apparent emphasis on converting "unreached people" on r/reformed is absolutely contrary to our attitudes here and would certainly be criticized as colonialist and orientalist.
there's also /c/reformed on lemmy.ml and kbin, both created by this same user. It's not that they need a new home, in fact I didn't see any reddit posts indicating major interest in leaving, so I assume its more of an "establish an outpost on all the new reddit alternatives" situation
