    I think that if brexit was done by somebody like Corbyn, then it could've been a good thing. It could've allowed UK to do a lot of nationalization of the core industries and pass socialist policies that wouldn't be allowed by the EU neoliberal policies. Unfortunately, it was done by ghouls who used it as an opportunity to do a massive wealth transfer to the top.

        Countries that are part of EU have to comply with EU regulations, and those have a significant impact on domestic economic policies.

          I'm suggesting simply not complying with EU regulations and seeing how long it takes to get kicked out.

            Sure, that would be a different way to exit, and probably a smarter one to be honest. Cause you could keep leveraging EU trade agreements until they cut you off, while flaunting the rules. That would make the transition a lot smoother than cutting yourself off the way UK did.
