A map illustrating the rise and expansion of the Tsardom of Russia under the rule of Ivan IV Vasilyevich (commonly known as The Terrible, from the Russian “grozny“(грозный), Fearsome or Awe-inspiring). Originally a Grand Prince of Moscow, Ivan IV became the first to be crowned and rule as the Tsar of all Russia (from the Latin Caesar), previously a conglomerate of dutchies. He laid the foundation of absolute rule, engaged in a reign of terror against the nobility, reformed the government, opened diplomatic relations with England, wrote music, oversaw cultural and religious renaissance, and aggressively expanded the Russian borders through war and conquest. Shortly after his death (in 1584), Russia entered decades of instability known as The Troubles (Смута) that ended his Rurik dynasty and opened the way for the Romanovs.

I've spent all my time off work basically playing league of legends or victoria 3, what a waste of time
the latter, I still haven't played a full campaign. I just got to 1905 as the Federation of the Andes (which changed to the Federation of the Americas?? for some reason?) and it's like what's the point of still playing, it's just going to be really slow until 1936
I basically keep getting to 1880 and then starting new games
I play a lot of 4x games and I often bail on a run in the first few hours. There's no reason not to do this. Sometimes the game is only fun in certain parts of the playthrough, and once you've gotten through that the only thing left is tedium.
i haven't made it past 1880 since the game first launched. every patch after made it slower and slower lol.
man fucking 1.5 they said would make it faster and it fucking bricked it, like 5x slower, I complained on the forums with some other people and nothing was ever done. They said 1.6 would improve it but no change. Dumb shit I hate it and reddit morons are in "well I don't see a problem so fuck you for complaining" mode
I worked and then went to the swimming course for my child. It's quality time often, but it's also exhausting. I miss gaming, but when I play, it's not how it used to be. There remains a feeling that I lost something forever.
yeah but at least you get to enjoy spending time with your kid, that's actually meaningful and something that will matter in the future, unlike if I play another run of Victoria as like Scandinavia or some bullshit
Not everything is meaningful, and sometimes I am disappointed by my own decisions. I often feel like I'm wasting time, and having less time doesn't mean you can't be unhappy with your productivity. However, feeling this way can be a good thing, as it indicates that you might need to find a new hobby or spend more time with people you like.
