My apartment complex does this too and I live in one of the cheapest places in town and it’s like half section 8. The worst thing is they’re “smart locks” so you have to use an app instead of a normal key. In general it works but you need to make sure your phone won’t be dead, it’s a pain to set up someone else with access, requires battery changes which we have to request, and in general just suck compared to a fucking key. And then they charge me 20 a month or whatever for it and don’t even use the shitty app because they made key fobs but don’t give those out.
It doesn't have a keypad on the front? Keypad deadbolts are great, and being able to use an app is a nice touch (as long as it isn't WiFi connected), but if it's app only that's lame as hell.
